وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٢٣﴾

Ilyas was a messenger sent to a people who called on Ba‘l.
La historia
Leaving the best of creators
Ilyas asks his people: “Do you call upon Ba‘l and leave the best of creators, Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” They deny him. Allah saves His sincere servants and leaves a good mention for Ilyas among later generations: “Peace upon Ilyasin.” Elsewhere he is counted among the righteous.

Mostrar los versículos (11)
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٢٤﴾
Cuando dijo a su pueblo: «¿Es que no vais a temer a Alá?
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ ﴿١٢٥﴾
¿Vais a invocar a Baal, dejando al Mejor de los creadores:
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٢٦﴾
a Alá, Señor vuestro y Señor de vuestros antepasados?»
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ ﴿١٢٧﴾
Le desmintieron y se les hará, ciertamente, comparecer;
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ ﴿١٢٨﴾
no, en cambio, a los siervos escogidos de Alá.
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ ﴿١٢٩﴾
Y perpetuamos su recuerdo en la posteridad.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ ﴿١٣٠﴾
¡Paz sobre Elías!
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿١٣١﴾
Así retribuimos a quienes hacen el bien.
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٣٢﴾
Fue uno de Nuestros siervos creyentes.
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلْيَاسَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿٨٥﴾
Y a Zacarías, a Juan, a Jesús y a Elías, todos ellos de los justos.
