وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا ﴿٥٦﴾
And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.
إدريس
Idris is mentioned twice in the Quran, briefly, as a man of truth and a prophet.
Allah calls Idris a man of truth and a prophet, says He raised him to a high station, and counts him among the patient and the righteous.
Maryam 19:56–57Al-Anbiya 21:85–86
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا ﴿٥٦﴾
And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet.
وَرَفَعْنَٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا ﴿٥٧﴾
And We raised him to a high station.
وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ﴿٨٥﴾
And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient.
وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿٨٦﴾
And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.
