About Laylat al-Qadr
Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, is the night the Quran was first revealed. In Surah Al-Qadr, Allah describes it as better than a thousand months.
It falls in the last ten nights of Ramadan and is sought especially on the odd nights (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th). Many Muslims observe the 27th night, the one listed here. The night begins at sunset on the evening before the date shown.
