وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا ﴿٥٤﴾
And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.

Kitaabka Muqaddaska ah waxaa loogu yaqaan Ishmael
Ismaaciil Quraanka waxaa lagu tilmaamay mid ballanta ku daacad ah, rasuul iyo nabi.
Qisada
Ballanta ku daacad
Allah wuxuu sheegay in Ismaaciil uu ballanta ku daacad ahaa, rasuul iyo nabi. Wuxuu qoyskiisa ku amri jiray salaad iyo zakaad, Rabbigiisna wuu ku raalli ahaa.
Muuji aayadaha (2)
وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيًّۭا ﴿٥٥﴾
And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing.
Kor u qaadidda Gurigii
Aabbihiis Ibraahim la jira ayuu kor u qaaday aasaaska Gurigii. Waxay yidhaahdeen: “Rabbiyow, naga aqbal tan. Naga dhig kuwa kuu muslima, farcankayagana ummad muslimad ah.”
Muuji aayadaha (3)
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿١٢٧﴾
And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٢٨﴾
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ﴿١٢٩﴾
Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Dooxada ag taal Guriga Barakaysan
Ibraahim wuxuu yidhi wuxuu qaar ka mid ah farcankiisa dejiyay dooxo aan beero lahayn oo agtiisa ah Guriga Barakaysan, si ay salaadda u ooyaan, wuxuuna weydiistay in qalbiyadu u dhaadhacaan oo ay midho ka arzaaqdaan. Wuxuu ammaanay Allah oo siiyay Ismaaciil iyo Ishaaq intuu da' weynaa.
Muuji aayadaha (3)
رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٣٧﴾
Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِى وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ﴿٣٨﴾
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلْكِبَرِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ ﴿٣٩﴾
Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

Qisadan waxaa laga qaaday Quraanka oo keliya. Tafaasiil ka yimid kutub kale lama darin.
Su'aalaha nabiyada ku saabsan
Yaa ahaa Nabi Ismail?
Ismaaciil Quraanka waxaa lagu tilmaamay mid ballanta ku daacad ah, rasuul iyo nabi.

Waxay ku jirtaa Maryam 19:54–55, Al-Baqarah 2:127–129, Ibrahim 14:37–39. Boggani wuxuu muujinayaa aayadahan oo Carabi ah iyo afkaaga.
