I musulmani vogliono imporre la Sharia ai non musulmani?

No. La grande maggioranza dei musulmani nei Paesi occidentali vuole vivere la propria fede nella sfera privata e rispettare la legge del Paese, cosa che l'Islam insegna loro di fare quando è stata data loro sicurezza e il diritto di praticare. Il Corano dice che non c'è costrizione nella religione.

L'insegnamento islamico chiede ai musulmani di mantenere i propri accordi e di essere leali al Paese in cui vivono in pace. Il Profeta ﷺ mandò alcuni dei suoi seguaci a vivere sotto un re cristiano in Abissinia, ed essi rispettarono le leggi praticando liberamente la loro fede. Gli studiosi lo hanno chiamato un patto di sicurezza.

Alcuni gruppi musulmani in alcuni luoghi chiedono la legge islamica nel proprio Paese, e i musulmani non sono d'accordo tra loro al riguardo. Ma l'idea che i musulmani in Occidente vogliano imporre le proprie regole agli altri è una paura che i sondaggi sulle comunità musulmane non confermano.

Dal Corano

لَآ إِكْرَاهَ فِى ٱلدِّينِ ۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّشْدُ مِنَ ٱلْغَىِّ ۚ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلطَّٰغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ لَا ٱنفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿٢٥٦﴾

There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

لَّا يَنْهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ ﴿٨﴾

Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَوْفُوا۟ بِٱلْعُقُودِ ۚ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّى ٱلصَّيْدِ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ ﴿١﴾

O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts. Lawful for you are the animals of grazing livestock except for that which is recited to you [in this Qur'an] - hunting not being permitted while you are in the state of ihram. Indeed, Allah ordains what He intends.
