وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍۢ فَخُورٍۢ ﴿١٨﴾
¡No pongas mala cara a la gente, ni pises la tierra con insolencia! Alá no ama a nadie que sea presumido, jactancioso.

Yes. Allah does not love every arrogant boaster (31:18), and tells us not to walk proudly on the earth (17:37). Pride is rejecting the truth and looking down on people. Humility is the way of the believers.

No vayas por la tierra con insolencia, que no eres capaz de hender la tierra, ni de alzarte a la altura de las montañas.
