Yes. Allah does not love every arrogant boaster (31:18), and tells us not to walk proudly on the earth (17:37). Pride is rejecting the truth and looking down on people. Humility is the way of the believers.
وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍۢ فَخُورٍۢ ﴿١٨﴾
Wala usiwabeuwe watu, wala usitembee katika nchi kwa maringo. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hampendi kila anaye jivuna na kujifakhirisha.
وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْجِبَالَ طُولًۭا ﴿٣٧﴾
Wala usitembee katika ardhi kwa maringo. Hakika wewe huwezi kuipasua ardhi wala kufikia urefu wa milima.
