About Muslim Flow
A free, calm and carefully sourced place for the things a Muslim reaches for every day.
Who we are
Muslim Flow is an independent project. It began with a simple wish: one clear place for Quran, prayer times, remembrance and learning, without clutter and without an account.
The website is available in many languages, with proper right-to-left layouts, and an Android app is on its way.
What you will find here
- The Quran with translations, tafsir and recitation audio.
- Prayer times, the Qibla direction and the Islamic calendar.
- Adhkar, tasbeeh counter and a prayer and fasting tracker.
- A hadith library with the grade of each hadith, and fiqh questions with the evidence.
- Articles, questions about Islam, stories of the prophets, the life of the Prophet ﷺ and the 99 names of Allah.
- Quizzes, a zakat calculator and guides for Hajj and Umrah.
How we write
Quran text and translations come from established, published sources. Hadith are taken from the books of hadith, mainly Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim and the four Sunan, and the grade is shown; weak hadith are not used as evidence.
Pages follow the mainstream Sunni understanding and say so when scholars differ, without pushing one school over another. Our sources and editorial rules are listed on the Sources page.
Our pages are general knowledge, not a fatwa. For a ruling on your own situation, ask a qualified scholar.
Corrections
We are not perfect, and we want to be right. If you find a mistake in a page, an article or a translation, write to us with the page address and what should change, and we will check it and correct it.
How the website is funded
The website is free to use. To pay for hosting and development it shows advertising from Google AdSense. The ads are provided by Google and are separate from our content; advertising does not decide what we write. You can read how ads and cookies work in our Privacy Policy. The Android app has no ads.
