Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Muslim Flow website (muslim-flow.com) uses, why, and what choices you have. We keep it plain and short.
Who we are
Muslim Flow runs the website muslim-flow.com and the Muslim Flow Android app. You can reach us at mahmoudkamal20518@gmail.com or from the Contact page. This policy covers the website; the app is summarised at the end.
What stays in your browser
There are no accounts on the website. Your language and theme, favourites, bookmarks, reading position, tasbeeh counters, tracker ticks and quiz progress are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not receive this data. If you clear your browser data, it is deleted.
Location
Prayer times and the Qibla need your place. You can type a city, or allow your browser to share your location. Location is optional, and the other pages work without it.
If you allow it, the coordinates are used in your browser and may be sent to AlAdhan (to calculate prayer times) and to BigDataCloud (to show the name of your city). City searches use the Open-Meteo geocoding service. We do not store your location on our own servers.
Advertising: Google AdSense
The website shows ads provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads.
- Google uses advertising cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this website and to other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or the opt-out page of the Digital Advertising Alliance.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice later from the same message.
We do not give Google or any advertiser your name, your email or anything you save on this website.

Analytics: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are read, from which country, and on which kind of device, so that we can improve it. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country and city level) and device and browser type. IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are used only after you agree in the consent message. You can also block Google Analytics with the browser add-on below.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. This website itself does not need cookies to work. Cookies are set by Google for advertising and analytics, as described above.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block advertising cookies, the website still works, and you may see ads that are less relevant to you.
Hosting and other services
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to serve pages quickly and to protect the site from attacks. Quran recitation audio is loaded from EveryAyah. Like any website you visit, these services receive your IP address when your browser asks them for a file. They have their own privacy policies.
Messages you send us
If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we use your message and contact details only to reply and to improve the website. We do not sell them or share them with advertisers.
Children
The website is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to ask what information a service holds about you, to correct or delete it, and to object to its use. Because we keep no accounts and store almost nothing about you, there is usually nothing to delete on our side; most data is held by your browser (which you can clear) or by Google (whose settings are linked above).
To make a request, write to us and we will answer as soon as we can.
The Android app
The Muslim Flow Android app is a separate product with its own, shorter policy: no ads, no analytics, no account; your settings and progress stay on your phone, and location is used only to calculate prayer times and the Qibla.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website changes or the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
